GLENFARCLAS 25 YEAR OLD 70CL

£343.95

The Glenfarclas distillery has been owned by the Grant family for 6 generations since it was purchased by John Grant in 1865. Aged using Spanish Oloroso Sherry oak casks as well as plain oak casks, creating the finest quality Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky in the traditional Speyside way.

In the 25 year old Glenfarclas we start seeing other oak influences finding notice amongst the sherry effects. The nose has tempting aromas of marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, sherry, nuts and some oaky tannins. The palate is full and robust, the sherry and oak fight for your attention yet neither overpowering. The finish is intense and long lasting, dry and malty. Leaving a beautiful dark chocolate taste at the back of your mouth.
