CHAPOUTIER SAINT-PERAY HAUT CHAMBLARD

A lightly toasted first nose with hints of almond and brown butter then, after the wine has had a chance to breathe, complex aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit and sweet spices emerge. Broad on entry to the palate, well-balanced with a lovely downy texture. The structure is dense and saline, the roasted yellow fruit gives way to fine empyreumatic overtones on the finish.
