We offer a secure payment service for card transactions through SHOPIFY that will not store any of your card details. We accept all major credit cards including amex, apple pay and paypal. Your card will be charged at the time of placing the order.
At any point during your transaction and during the opening hours of 10am-10pm please call any one of our stores for assistance. We can also take orders over the phone.
By placing an order on our website you are certifying that you are of legal age to do so. We will not sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 and our carriers will ask for proof of age where they believe that the person receipting the delivery is under the age of 25. In the event that the person can not provide proof of age we will be unable to leave the goods and reserve the right to charge for redelivery.
WE WILL NOT SHIP TO N.I. OR NON MAINLAND UK. WE HAVE TRIED BUT CAN NOT GET A COURIER TO CARRY THIS SERVICE OUT.
PAYMENT, PRICING & PROMOTIONS
We cannot guarantee stock availability in all cases and all products are offered subject to availability. Payment will be taken from your chosen payment method once the order is placed, we will contact you by email with conformation of your order and that is to be fulfilled.
All Prices are inclusive of UK VALUE ADDED TAX at 20%
At all times products remain the property of Dunedin Wines Limited until payment is received in full.
Promotional offers and prices are offered as stated with no further discounts, we do not offer discounting based on volume of sale however if you have an event requirement we can over our bespoke event/wedding service.
While we take every care to ensure that all pricing is accurate on our website, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be miss priced. If we discover a pricing error we will at our discretion contact you to ask if you wish to process with your order or we will inform you that your order has been cancelled. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
We reserve the right to change prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before ( but not after ) we accept your order. Where we have an end date on an offer we have this as a guide and may chose to end this early or extend. We reserve the right to change prices at anytime within the legal framework of our licensing obligations.
Online credit card fraud us a problem in fine wines and we take this very seriously, if you are looking to purchase a large amount of fine wine/Champagne we ask that you contact one of our stores to discuss as we will not send out orders over £1000 without speaking to the customer to confirm details.
We will ensure that our activities are fully in accordance with Scottish Licensing requirements and will make every effort to uphold the principles of our sales license.
By making an offer to purchase a Product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information ( including any updated information ) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure and within GDPR guidelines. In the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procedures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website. You should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your personal information and/or user information we may be obliged to do so.
RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS
We will provide a full refund or replace any faulty wines that you receive and this will not affect your statutory rights. We may ask for the faulty products to be returned and will arrange for collection of them.
We offer a sale or return with our event servicing, while we would love for you to buy online and offer this we would much rather see you in store and discuss your specific needs. SALE OR RETURN
For events we know the worry that running out can bring so we would rather that you took advantage of our SALE OR RETURN policy. This must be agreed in advance with a maximum return of 30% on each product. The condition of return must be that the products can still be retailed with undamaged labels and in full cases only.
Our aim is for you to find our stores a one stop shop for your events and with that we offer FREE GLASS HIRE along with purchase of wine on wine goblets, Champagne Flutes and Hi-ball glasses. These must be booked in advance with a minimum of 12 bottles purchased per 24 hired.
If you need to impress we can also supply fancy glassware for a cost.
