NUSBAUMER POIRE WILLIAMS

This fragile fruit, from the Rhône and Durance valleys, with yellow-green skin and white, fine and melting flesh, is very juicy and fragrant, with a tangy taste. The choice of raw material is essential: the fruits must be healthy, not damaged.
This pome fruit is produced like a stone fruit. After a natural fermentation determined precisely each year, the fruits are distilled in an artisanal and traditional way in one of our four small copper stills. This eau-de-vie is then aged for a few years in stainless steel barrels to obtain this unique roundness and finesse. At the end of this long aging, we reduce it to 43° with water from our own Vosges spring. This water which passes through a purple schist subsoil is of great purity and gives it a singular strength.

TASTING NOTE
Williams pear brandy is the most appreciated, for its powerful and mellow bouquet. She talentedly expresses the richness of the terroir and the nuanced flavours of the fruit.
