A tongue-in-cheek jibe at 'critter labels' and a gorgeous Sauvignon Blanc that, like all the good ones from the Cape, bridges the Old and New Worlds. Viticulturalist & winemaker Jacques Wentzel picks Sauvignon from seven sites around the unparalleled Franschhoek valley, and mixes with 5 per cent barrel-fermented old-vine Semillon. There's meaning behind everything here, right down to the bottle with it's Dutch orange theme, denoting South Africa's Dutch heritage: can you spot the Eiffel tower (for Franschhoek's French past) and South African flag?

Flavours are terrific. As much as 300 metres of altitude in Franschhoek brings freshness to the aromas of fynbos, pears, lychees and Granny Smith apples, and flavours of gooseberry and passion fruit. Crackingly long.
