DOMAINE DU TUNNEL CORNAS

The Cornas has a very deep ruby colour with violet hues. The nose shows aromas of cherry and raspberry with a touch of pepper. On the palate, the tannins are smooth but structured with flavours of roasted nuts and pepper complementing the dark fruit on the finish.

Domaine du Tunnel is situated in an old steam train tunnel in the charming village of Saint-P€÷ray in the Northern Rh€‹ne.ô˜

St€÷phaneŸ??s Cornas is made from 15 parcels of Syrah from several lieu-dits. The blending of parcels gives the wine layers of complexity and character. The wine spends 14 months in four-year-old oak barriques to add roundness without masking the fruit. It has a lovely deep colour with a vibrant and spicy nose of fragrant black fruits. The tannins are smooth but structured.
